In 1884, the Oregon train depot’s original Station Master arrived in Ashland, married the daughter of a local pioneer family…… and then the scandals began! Oregon author Sue DeMarinis’ second novel, the historical fiction ‘The Station Master’s Wife’, is based on what she discovered about this family as she researched her original Ashland Victorian home. DeMarinis will present a reading and slideshow of the real characters and places in the novel, at 2 p.m., Friday March 6 in the Library Meeting Room. Copies of the novel will be available for purchase from the author.
All events are free and open to the public.
