Join the Springfield Public Library for a morning of bilingual music fun on the Fountain Plaza with local, bilingual (Spanish/English) musical group Piel de Canela at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, July 14. This event is great for kids of all ages and their families, and should last between 30 and 60 minutes. The Springfield Public Library recommends bringing sunscreen and plenty of water, as the weather has been unpredictable and very hot this summer. Join Food for Lane County on the Fountain Plaza immediately following this event at 11:30 a.m., for free lunches for kids aged 1 – 18. The library will be open on Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. so come in after the show and grab some new books. Library masking/Covid-19 guidelines match that of OSHA and the State of Oregon.
