Suicide is a serious public health problem and effective suicide prevention requires the involvement of the entire community, not just the healthcare system. Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR) is a brief training for community members who want to learn more about mental illness, suicide and how to identify and support those at risk of suicide. All members of the community are encouraged to sign up regardless of their level of education or knowledge of mental health.
